Smart Radio
With such a vast choice of stations, radio is still one of the best ways to enjoy curated music and chat. With its SmartRadio tuner, R3 has been designed to make your enjoyment of this medium the best ever. The FM tuner provides quick access to local and national broadcasts, but with an Internet tuner also included, R3 allows you access to stations and podcasts both local and worldwide. Best of all, when streaming radio via the Internet, there's no need to worry about interference so you can enjoy better-quality sound.
The RotoDial controller on the top of R3 allows for easy access to all your favourite stations, with support for saving presets. The OLED display allows you to browse and discover stations by popularity, location, and genre. Stations can also be accessed via the UNDOK app for Apple and Android smartphones.
Whatever your taste in music or talk, with R3 you will quickly find stations new and old you will love, and if you live abroad you can stay in touch by still enjoying your favourite programming from home.
Multi-Format CD Player
Music streaming services provide near-infinite choice, but CD is still one of the best ways to listen to your favourite albums from front to back. With its high-specification player, R3 will make the best of your CD collection.
At Ruark, we know that playing something tactile like a CD is an experience that should not be lost to time. By purchasing physical music, we are supporting the artists we love.
Alongside standard CDs, R3 also plays self-made CDs encoded with popular formats such as WAV and MP3 and in addition displays track and artist information when this data is available on the disc.
Stream On
With an Internet connection, you’ll have access to an infinite library of music through services such as Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer and Tidal.
For example, using Spotify Connect, you can simply select R3 as your playback device in the Spotify app, and start listening to anything you, please.
Also available for iOS and Android devices is our app called UNDOK, allowing for comprehensive control of R3.
Even More
The digital and analogue inputs on the back of R3 allow even more flexibility. Connect a compatible turntable via RCA line-in (external phono preamp required), or use R3 for TV sound using the digital optical input. There's also a stereo headphone output for private listening.
