Audio-Technica expands its line of direct-drive turntables with the semi-automatic AT-LP8X, featuring a newly designed tonearm lift that automatically raises the tonearm at the end of a record side and stops the motor.

The AT-LP8X’s tonearm lifts automatically at the end of a record and its motor automatically stops – rare features on a direct-drive turntable. This gives you the freedom to listen casually and not worry about when a record will end.

The turntable’s AT-VM95E cartridge is compatible with any Audio-Technica VM95 Series replacement stylus, making it easy to experiment with different styli profiles upgrade to a higher-quality stylus to enjoy more refined sound or switch to an AT-VMN95SP stylus to play 78 RPM records
